Upload speed faster than download speed?

We're on 50Mbps fiber, and we're seeing a huge discrepancy in upload and download speeds. I just ran Comcast Speedtest and it showed the following: Ping: 4ms Download: 6.16Mbps Upload: 44.75Mbps Isn't it usually the other way around? Shouldn't fiber be at least a bit more symmetrical? TIA.
