Is there DNS guide?

Does anyone know if there is a DNS guide? I am having a terrible time getting my static IPs mapped to the hostnames. The rDNS entries have been entered and I attempted to edit my zones file for my domain name. Still can't get anything to work.

Netgear CG3000DCR allocates /60 but won't route to it.
