Are there any viable Comcast business gateways today?

Hi, we have a Cisco DPC3941B with the usual litany of firmware problems.  We have an imminent need to do some port forwarding/mapping from external ports to internal IPs, which doesn't work (we get the "failed" error).  And even if it *did* work, the functionality is totally not there to map an external port to a *different* internal port (which we need to do, since we have to map external ports to the same internal port on different IPs.

So is there something business-gateway wise we can ask Comcast for that *does* work?  Or is the only/best option to set the gateway into "bridge" mode (essentially making it a modem) and buying our own router?  (And if we did do that, is there any way to manage that device after the change- say we wanted to change it back- or is the only management access from that point forward from the WAN side via Comcast support?)
