Closing my business and Comcast kicks me while I'm down
Been a Comcast Business customer since 2012. Due to a slow down in our business, we are forced to close down our retail locations at the end of February (when our leases are up). I called today to schedule for my Comcast services to be disconnected at the end of the month and was informed for the first time that I have to provide 60 days notice. Does Comcast not understand that sometimes life doesn't work that way? So, now in addition to a down turn in our business, Comcast is going to extort additional money from me. I have a call in to my attorney to look over the paper contract I signed in 2012.

Does anyone know if there is a way for Comcast to waive this ridiculous 60 day notice crap? My attorney says that he can get it taken care of, but of course he isn't going to do it for free.

Hello Vapin,
I'm sorry you were not originally informed of the 60 day disconnect notice. The 60 day notice is listed in the terms and conditions page found here.

Thank you for sending an HTML link Jacob. However, the contract that I signed was a piece of paper. Can you please share with the community where this text can be found on the paper version that people are required to sign?

Hello vapin,
When trying to obtain a physically signed copy of your service agreement you are limited to two options. A rep such as my self can send a copy to your private email or you can call our Loyalty team at eh business support number (18003913000) to have them send a physical copy to you. If this is something you would like me to supply for you please send me a private message.
Thank you

So if a customer is requesting assistance from customer service and does not recieve the assistance, and due to the lack of response by customer service the customer leaves comcast again due to lack of service, the CUSTOMER IS RESPONSIBLE? Great way to REWARD LONG TERM Customers.

You know they are also going to charge you an ETF unless you declare bankruptcy? The contract says no but the uneducated CSR will not be able to comprehend this and charge you the fee anyway, they want to charge me this fee for the exact same situation as you, closing down my business. So watch out for that.
