I have done a reset on the gateway and I am still unable to log in. I am getting The login attempt failed. Anything else that I can do other than the reset.

If you do not use a Comcast staticIP address, then you could depress the little black reset button on the back of the Comcast Gateway for 15 seconds minimum and that should bring everything back to factory defaults.
