What equipment is needed for Business TV?

I have had Business Class connected to my Business for several years now. No one ever told me it included any TV service! When I was installed, installer only hooked up internet modem and didn't even mention ANYTHING about Business TV!!!

 

Now that I have been paying for it for quite some time, and not using it, I would like to find out my options. What type of splitter do I need? Is there any "compatible" equipment I can purchase myself? (I own my modem, i.e. no renting of equipment). Can I just connect the cable to the back of my new smart TV?

 

If someone could answer these questions for me, it would be a start.

Thank you for that info, I will call them out. I am curious why they didn't install, or mention, ANYTHING about TV installation when they did the initial install? Seems to me, especially if it is FREE, it should have been a part of the the install instructions given to me at that time!

Hello carwash and welcome, Most business customers like yourself received TV basic package to increase your bundling which also increases your total service discounts. If you want to use your TV service, it is necessary for you to have a cable box for every TV you want to have different stations on different TVs. The FCC dictates now that all cable TV providers must broadcast only Digital TV because no more Analog Antennas. You can call 800-391-3000, use Video technical and have the technical agent schedule a technician to come out and install your 1st free cable TV box. All boxes after the first one is typically 9.95 + 5.00 for HD Boxes. Hope this helps you out.
