Why is sharepoint access so difficult to get or keep working
Still unable to access Sharepoint site. How many other people are having the same issue? Why is it so tough to reset access or delete the site and reset the startup/setup process?

Hello Michael and welcome,
Sharepoint, websites, etc facilities can ONLY be accessed for development or management purposes by users who have administrator or Service Management permissions. If your Sharepoint administrator added your user account for access information then this is another means by which you can access (read only) information made available on youre Sharepoint site.
Hope this helps you out.

Yes. I am the system administrator. In fact, I'm the sole proprietor of my business so there is no other user that could be registered to administer the site.
I submitted a request for assistance and got the "standard" reset of the account which solved nothing. Then I received a message saying it was a problem with comcast's servers and somehow they had my sharepoint site linked to some other user account. I agreed to them deleting the site but nothing happened of course, the person who was responding via PM and giving me these options has stopped responding altogether.
When you call comcast, they say there's nothing they can do to fix it.
