Manage Email Whoas Alias,Forwarders and Distribution List
Seen few people have problems and I have been trying to make it work. So when I started my service with comcast 2008 they assigned "advernets.comcastbiz.net" as my primary user domain. I added advernets.com a few years back. I recently been trying to make some changes in my account but getting errors and sometime web page flashes with not saving.
I am logged in as my Primary User with an email domain using "advernets.com" and have tried all these tasks on Firefox, IE and Chrome with no success. Now what I stumbled upon is the functionality works if I select "advernets.comcastbiz.net" as the domain on any function and saves it. But if I try to create and save using "advernets.com" as domain doing any of the following functions, Forwards, Distribution List or Add Alias under my email, it does not work and get either error or screen flashes and does not save.
Calling support does not help and tier 2 has not contacted me or tried to help either so I'm really stuck. These functions worked a year ago, so possible something to do with either crossed wires in portal or something in the Exchange upgrade at comcast is not seeing my "advernets.com" to be changable in portal.
Help! I've been just playing and trying? Praying for miracles as I rely on certain email to received required business email.

Hello robo and welcome,
Well apparently your advernets.comcastbiz.net email address is the true administrator email address. Simply log into the Business Calss Portal using this email account, then check the permissions on any of the other email accounts to make sure they match your permissions privilidges.
Hope this help you out.

I am in as the Primary Manager and has all the permissions. I even had Comcast change my primary to the user with "advernets.com" and still problem. I removed email boxes and only have 2 and shows 5/8 so something is still wrong. Comcast opened a ticket for me to get this resolved. They see there is an issue too.

Glad to hear tech support resolved this issue for you. Was the resolution related to the biller or your Business Class Portal account configuration issue?

What was the solution? Was it an issue on the server side?
