CG3000DCR stopped working.

Modem stopped working. When you plug it up, it looks like it's getting the bootfile and stuff from comcast, but it freezes and does not give DHCP address or any other IP information to the modem itself.

Hooked up old DOCSIS 2.0 modem, works great.

Do I need to turn this in to my local comcast office since it doesn't work anymore and get a replacement since this was sent to me for the IPv6 trial section?

Hello gstanley79 and welcome,

I was under the distinct impression that ALL bonafide IPV6 trial sites have direct contact about specific IPV6 issues. If this is not the case for you then contact 18003913000 option 1 and setup a trouble call to have a technician take care of the replacement for you.

I would also check all of your modem's trial site specific settings that were provided to you.

Lastly, are you currently performing trial on the new dual stack at all?

Look forward to hearing from you....

I have not touched the modem since the IPv6 DHCP-PD stuff did not work with my gear, so the answer is no, I am not performing the dual stack trial since the firmware never worked to begin with.
