Anyone else having issues with DHCPv6 on the Cisco IOS after about 3 months? It will drop v6 and I have to do a {clear ipv6 dhcp client GigabitEthernet0/0} to get it back.. I wrote a script to check for v6 down on my linux box and fix it when it is gone.. Example below: NetDogRT01#sh ipv6 int brGi

I am needing to start assigning a couple /64's to my vm servers so that the traffic there is on its own network as well as for ddns updates. Is there any thing special that needs to be done so that I can start getting the larger address space delegated?
Biz customers get a /56, what are you tring to do? What is your setup like?

Working through enabling IPv6 on my postfix-based Linux mail server connected to a DPC3939B. I am successfully getting the 2601::/64 address on the mail server's WAN interface, and I am able to successfully connect and send/receive mail on v6 ports 465 & 587. but port 25 seems blocked. Dual-Stack have been enabled on both the SMC D3G CCR and the Cisco DPC3939B.. If you dont have dual-stack reboot your device and the bootfile will enable it..

Dual-Stack have been enabled on both the SMC D3G CCR and the Cisco DPC3939B.. If you dont have dual-stack reboot your device and the bootfile will enable it..
