Can't Access Two Websites

Hello,

When I use any computer or mobile device connected to my comcast business network connection, I am unable to access both the Barnes and Noble website and Aetna website.

When I try to access Barnes and Noble (www.barnesandnoble.com), I get the following message:

This page is unavailable due to either geographic restrictions or other restrictions in place at this time. NOTE: other restrictions can be a result of our security platform detecting potential malicious activity. Please try again later as the restrictions may be lifted, or contact your service provider if the issue persists.

ID: 3140008799961256572

When I try to log in to my Aetna.com account (member.aetna.com/appConfig/login/login.fcc?) I get the following message:

Oops! Looks like something has gone wrong.

ADN: 15912937197390055827

If I use my phone to connect to the internet using my data plan (non-comcast), I can connect fine.  Likewise if I bring my laptop somewhere else and connect wirelessly, it also works.

Can someone help with this?

Thanks!

Hello mboehler and welcome to forums,

Sorry for the delayed response. Are you still having issues reaching certain websites at your location?

Yes, I am still having trouble.  I believe that I am being blocked by the websites due to being on a couple of Blacklists.

I used http://whatismyipaddress.com/blacklist-check to discover that I am being blocked by dnsbl.sorbs.net, dul.dnsbl.sorbs.net, and l2.apnews.org.

I tried to remove my IP address (172.199.193.202) from SORBS, but was unable to.  I get the following response:

I've analyzed the following IP space, based on the text of your
request:

71.199.193.202/32

Not all the IP space you requested can be delisted at this
time. Please review carefully our FAQ, located at the following URI

http://www.sorbs.net/faq/dul.shtml

For efficiency, I review segments of IP space that may be larger than
what you requested, although I will delist your IP space once it is
eligible, regardless of its surroundings. In this case, I found the
following IP space, not eligible for delisting:

71.199.193.0/24

Please review our FAQ very carefully for actions you might need to
take. You may want to review your rDNS information for these IP
ranges. When checking the rDNS information, please don't forget to
consider the TTL. It must be 43200 seconds or longer.

I'm now marking this request as 'answered' as I think there's nothing
more for me to do. If you feel otherwise, please reply to this message
to re-open your ticket. In particular, if you change your rDNS
information.

Best regards.
