Tax Exemption Status

Hello all,

I work for a 501c3 non-profit animal shelter and have been trying to submit the documentation needed for our tax exempt status with no luck. I've called the support line and been given the email "bbw_billing@cable.comcast.com" to send our official documents to, but the address keeps bouncing back to my inbox as invalid.

Anyone know who I should contact about this?

HSTV1885, Thank you for reaching out to Comcast Business Support.

To file documentation for tax-exempt status with Comcast, follow these steps:
Go to the **Comcast Tax Billing Portal**.
Enter your email address.
Select “**I want to submit a customer exemption certificate**” from the **How can we help?** dropdown menu.

Ensure you have valid exemption documentation ready to present to Comcast, as customers may be exempt from certain federal, state, and local taxes, but not all.

@Comcast_Angie I'm not having any luck finding the "Comcast Tax Billing Portal" through internal search engines or exploring the site. Do you have a link to that page?

@HSTV1885, I apologize we need to help you with this process. If you could send our team a direct message with your full name, the business name listed on the account, and the service address associated with your account, I'd be more than happy to look into this for you. To send a Direct Message, please click on the chat icon in the top-right corner of the screen, next to the bell icon, and then type or select "Comcast Business" to initiate a direct message.

I am having the same issue.  Were you able to get this resolved?  And if so, do you mind to share how you did it?  Their site is so frustrating, and when I called, like you, I was given an email to send it to and it kept bouncing back.  GRRRR

Do not bother submitting proof of being tax exempt, Comcast does not honor any tax exempt status
