Tax Exemption for State Agency
I am the account administrator for our local fire dept which is a tax exempt organization. What do I need to do to have our account adjusted for the tax exempt status? I see others posting about it but no specific link to go to.

Hello Station49 and welcome,
You can simply call 800-391-3000 choosing Billing option, and request to the billing agent that you are seeking Tax Exemption and the billing agent will provide you an email address or eFAX number to provide all of your State and Local Tax Exemption certificates. Also along within this information please provide your account number, contact full name, telephone number, and email in case the Comcast Tax Exemption processing group has any questions. This billing agent will then have them processed for you and this typically takes between 5-10 business days after the Tax Exemption group receives all the information.
