Moved Service, new account number, old account still being billed
So I requested a move of service because I was moving out of an apartment and into a house, upon doing so a new account was apparently created at the new address. I assumed my old account would just transfer. This was not a big deal to me, until I just received a bill for my old address to pay for service from Aug 14 - Sept. -- a time when I clearly won't be living at that address any longer.
Long story short, I currently appear to have 2 active account, one at an address I do not own and will never live at again. I am hoping to get that old account removed, or whatever needs to be done so that I don't end up being requested to pay for service at 2 addresses, while not owning or living at one of the two. I wanted to start this process long before the bill was due to make sure things were taken care of. I can provide account numbers, etc. as needed via e-mail, private message, phone, or whatever method.
