50/10 business internet: frequent short service interruptions recently in San Francisco

I'm in zip code 94121, Geary Blvd, San Francisco. Seeing lots of short outages (without any communication from Comcast).

Can you look into what might be causing the problem? I don't kow if it's local to my building or a more widespread problem. I don't want to wait on the phone to talk to customer service -- woudl prefer if you just look into the problem now. It would be nice if you had a normal email support system since I don't like wasting my time on the phone.

You can try sending an IM to one of the moderators on this forum; they are Comcast employees, and their username are colored red. Here's one account:

If you want, you can post a screenshot of your upstream and downstream signal levels located at http://10.1.10.1 (username "cusadmin", password "highspeed"). This could at least tell us whether the problem is coax signaling related.

We are in Boston and been experiencing similar / daily 3 minute outage for the past couple weeks, which automatically resolve by themselves.   Unfortunately the entire office gets take our.  I am unable to login to 10.1.10.1 as suggested below.  How can I open a ticket?

Go to Equipment Modems Gateways forum and ask for a password reset, there are many threads asking this just pick one and post to it.  Trouble tickets must be opened via telephone call, unfortunately, but once you have a ticket number you can post it to a thread here.

Hello JLEGELIS and welcome,

If you are not using a Comcast StaticIP then you can just depress the little black reset button on the back of your Comcast Gateway (CG) for 15 seconds minimum and this will set everything back to factory default including your login password back to highspeed. As long as your computer is ethernet wired interconnected to any LanPort 1-4 in the rear of the CG, you should be able to login.

Hope this helps you out.

Having a similar problem on the SF Peninsula -- Burlingame 94010.

Started with brief outages that seemed to resolve themselves but now my speeds seem to be fluctuating. Basically, the internet becomes so slow it's unusable for about 5 minutes, then it's back to normal.

Anyone find a resolution yet? I'm on a StaticIP 50/10 service.
