Comcast offers a public wifi using their customers' wifi as the hot spot. Ever notice a wifi nearby with great signal that needs no password to connect to? Well that is 'xfinity wifi'This allows people like myself to sign into your wifi for free by logging in with my xfinity email and password at an

I see a thread that back in September there was supposedly a firmware update for the Cisco 3939b to work with Chromecast.  Has this update taken place?  I'm going to have to get a new router or cancel my service if this isn't working soon.

Do we still not have a fix for this? Its mildly amusing how long it takes for this "quality" service provider to resolve such a simple issue. Its one simple setting that needs to be changed, its called AP Isolation... but of course no one in tech sup

This issue has been around for the longest time and a firmware fix was promised, yet there's no update so far and the thread is locked:  WE MUST USE CHROMECAST and yet the Comcast modem is locked and we can't get anything done!!! Comcast must allow us to turn off AP Isolation! I can't get a chromecast to connect to the 2.4 GHz signal of my new Cisco DPC3939B Router.  I've tried tweaking various settings but still no luck.  Google mentions that 'AP Isolation Mode' needs to be disabled on dual-band routers but I don't see a setting for this in the admin util. Any ideas on h

I too am having the same issue. Comcast seems to have no clue how to fix this. I've been troubleshooting this issue since the day I had business class installed last week, have had two techs on site to try and resolve it, even switched my modem. I ca

I'm having the same issues. When will this upgrade be? I am not very happy with wasting money, because this product doesn't function, at all.
