Maybe the community can help my problem on IPv6 and the Technicolor CGA4131COM modem not actually doing a DHCPv6-PD properly. There are several posts here that document the same problem but then go quite... maybe they got fixed? Maybe they gave up. Please see:https://forums.businesshelp.comcast.com/

I have never gotten IPv6 routing to work properly with this router. It worked fine with the Cisco router. It doesn't properly delegate subnets. I've been stuck with this PoS router since I also get VOIP service.

Ever since I was switched to the Technicolor CGA4131COM I have been unable to get IPv6 to work properly. I recently went through a string of modems after the SMC modem I had started having RF issues. They then issued me a Netgear modem which worked great... except it would lock up hard about once a

Sure, I'm not sure how to do that here. I can live without IPv6 but it's something I'd like to have working. I have a feeling the problem is that the modem isn't adding the route entry when something other than a /64 is given out.

Hello Gina, We already have those settings on. I would really just like to know if there's a firmware update or hotfix to fix this modem's IPv6 issues. Thanks.

Hi Gina, I have static IPv4 IPs, so the CGA4131COM must *NOT* be set into bridge mode per support.  The CGA4131COM runs into a pfsense router/firewall, then out to my network. I have everything on the CGA4131COM disabled.IPv4 & IPv6 - Disable entire

After extended testing, the only way a Technicolor gateway will pass IPv6 traffic from client computers when using IPv6 DHCP-PD on a firewall or router behind it is to place the Technicolor gateway in bridge mode.

ComcastBiz_Support / Comcast_Gina - This statement is completely unrelated to the post/request made by ITGrouch56 as well as multiple other posters/threads in your own forums (bordering on the same level of tone-deafness I’ve encountered). The statem

My previous gateway was just swapped out due to connectivity issues, and I can't seem to get prefix delegation working quite right on the new box.   I'm running pfsense as my router. I seem to be getting correctly delegated prefixes from the gateway via dhcp6. Digging around with tcpdump I see the C

I just got this new modem and have the same issues as above... It refuses to pass IPv6 traffic from the delegated addresses it gave my firewall. The traffic logs:02:19:12.708251 IP6 2603:300b:XXXX:XXXX:208:a2ff:fe0c:e8e2 > 2606:4700:4700::1111: ICMP6
