Weird IPv6 prefix delegation

According to the Comcast Business site, I have a /56. This means I should be able to have up to 256 /64's correct?

This doesn't work for me. Others say that /60 should work. And it does... Sort of. with /60, I'm delegated /63's. Yes, 63, not 64. If I choose /59, I'm delegated /64's.

Is all of this expected? Is there something wonky on my side?

My apologies for the confusion! Please click on my handle (Comcast_Gina) and send a private message with your name, the business name, the complete service address (including city, state, ZIP, suite number, etc), and the phone or account number, and any other pertinent details so we can help. One of the links earlier in this thread gives some information that may help answer your questions though:

"Static IPv6 prefixes are allocated in a single size for all Business IP Gateway customers, the size being a /56."

"You can attach your computers to the IP Gateway using it as your DHCP server for IPv4 and IPv6. Stateless IPv6 address auto-configuration is also supported by Business IP Gateways. It has 4 available ports and can support up to 256 for IPv4 (by default, this is set to 189) networked devices, however bandwidth needs may necessitate limiting the number of simultaneous connections."
