Set up Be Anywhere in My Account (Answered)
Introduction
Be Anywhere allows you to make and receive calls from any phone or mobile device at any location. Receive inbound calls on any of your devices in addition to your office phone. Make calls from those devices while still displaying the Caller ID of your business landline to your called party.
Note: Access to this feature requires the purchase of a Business Voice Mobility line or VoiceEdge Select service. For more information, contact a Business sales representative at (800) 391-3000. Mobility lines are not available in all areas.
Access Be Anywhere settings
- Sign in to My Account and select Phone from your subscribed services.
Note: If you select Phone from your subscribed services and your screen looks different than described below, please see the Alternative Be Anywhere settings section below. - Select Mobility from the Features menu.
Add a phone to receive inbound calls and make outbound calls
- Select Add phone to begin setting up a Be Anywhere device.

- Enter a Phone name and the Phone number. This is the phone that all calls will be forwarded to (based on the rules you set up). Select the checkmark when you are finished.

Edit phone rules for calls
- Select the Expand icon next to the appropriate phone in the list, then select Manage phone & rules.

- Select Add new rule.

- Enter or select the following Rules details:
- Rule name: Enter a rule description. For example, Nights and Weekends or Calls from IT Department.
- Time Schedule: Choose the time of day you would like sequential ring to be active. Every Day All Day is selected by default. You can also customize your own time schedule.
- Holiday Schedule: If you would like to apply rules on specific days, you can customize a Holiday Schedule.
- Call types: Choose All phone numbers if you want all calls to be forwarded or choose Select phone numbers and enter the phone numbers of callers whose calls you want to activate sequential ring. If you choose Select phone numbers, you also have the option to allow calls from private or unavailable numbers.
- Select Add when you are finished.

- Repeat these steps to create additional rules.
Alternative Be Anywhere settings
- The view should default to Users & Lines. If it does not, select it from the left-hand menu.
- Click the three-dot menu of the Mobility line you would like to manage Be Anywhere settings for.
- Select Manage.

- Select the Be Anywhere tab.

- Select + Add Number and add the name of the phone and phone number that you would like to add to Be Anywhere. Select Add.

- To edit the name or phone number of an existing Be Anywhere phone number, select the pencil icon. To delete an existing Be Anywhere phone number, select the delete icon.

- To add a rule, you must have an active Be Anywhere phone number. Click the active rule dropdown and click Add Rule.

- You will need to fill out the following fields:
- Rule Title.
- At least one phone number of All Private Numbers and / or All Unavailable Numbers. Select when these numbers should ring to the Be Anywhere phone number.
- Select Save.
Note: To edit a rule, select the pencil icon. To delete a rule, select the trash can icon.
Make an outbound call from your Comcast Business mobile app
To use the Comcast Business Mobile App on your device to manage Be Anywhere and make outbound calls, please make sure your Comcast Business user has a phone number assigned. Follow these instructions to assign a phone number:
