Already have the EverPass device? Does the X1 app work if I already have an EverPass device(s)?
Yes, the X1 app streams content through the X1 platform – you would not need a physical device other than your eligible X1 device to get your subscription on that TV. However, if you already have the EverPass device, you can use that to power one TV and X1 to power another TV.
How many TVs can one device power?
For both the app experience on X1 and the EverPass device, it depends on your A/V set-up. If you have a centralized A/V system, you can plug your device into an HDMI input, and have it run on as many TVs as you’d like as often as you’d like. If you are plugging directly into the HDMI input of a TV, you would need one device per TV.
How many streams can a device provide?
At this time, the app on X1 or the EverPass device can only show one stream at a time. That means regardless of whether the device is plugged into a central A/V system or directly into a TV, only one event can be shown at a time to the connected TV(s). You can always switch to a different event through the EverPass Manager.
What if I need or want more than one device?
EverPass has multiple options and can guide you based on your needs. Each additional EverPass device has a one-time purchase fee but does not increase your monthly subscription fee.
If I have multiple devices, can each device show a different event?
Yes, a single device can show only one stream (e.g., one game) at a time but if you have more than one device then you can personalize the content to each device, including running multiple concurrent events, all managed through the EverPass Manager.
What level of support does EverPass provide?
In addition to a robust help center with articles, videos and more on how to use the platform, EverPass provides access to their Customer Success and Support teams via email, text and phone, including on event days. Visit EverPass at bit.ly/EPCOMCAST for more information or call EverPass at 855-787-7469 and press 2 for support.
Are there any accessibility features?
Since EverPass is a third-party application, most of your accessibility user preferences on your X1 device will not be observed once you launch the app. EverPass allows you to enable Closed Captioning, which can be managed in your EverPass portal.
How do I return to the main menu?
Press the Exit, Guide, Home, or xfinity button on your remote to exit EverPass. You can also say a voice command like "Watch CNN" into your Voice Remote to exit the app.
Can I watch EverPass content outside of the app?
Yes. Any outlet that is connected to either an X1 device with EverPass or an EverPass device will stream your subscription content.
Note: EverPass does not provide on-site support related to installation & troubleshooting. Comcast Business support is limited to the X1 devices and the content provided directly by Comcast Business; technicians cannot support devices purchased by EverPass.
