State of IPv6 prefix delegation functionality on current business modems

Hey folks, I'm just checking in to see what the latest state of IPv6 is on business class. I recall having a bear of a time getting IPv6 to work on a Technicolor gateway about 5 or 6 years ago, and have not had to configure IPv6 on a Comcast Business network since then, but might be doing so soon. Do the modems support prefix delegation of at least a /60? Is there any speculation that *gasp* true static IPv6 will ever be offered? Thanks in advance. (Also like that the pinned post is over a decade old here. I miss NetDog!)

But you really don't, do you?  We are unable to setup our /56 statically, and have to rely on your DHCP PD for our subnets.  When those expire, we get new /64's.  Unacceptable.

They do a /56, but don't allow us to setup our own routes.  We have to use their DHCP PD, we get /64's out of it and we have to deal with the rotating subnets.

There is a post here about setting everything up manually, but it doesn't stick, the cable modem will eventually stop routing packets to your network.

I did a deep dive on that and concluded that if they would only accept and process a RA from our router properly it would work.  But they don't.

Currently looking at finding another provider.

My old cable modem had this problem, but lease time was "4 days" and stopped routing within about 1 day.  My modem was replaced today and I'm seeing lease times of 1 hour for the /59 blocks I request, so I hope this fixes the "non-routing" issue.  Only time will tell.

Edit: The problem is back but I haven't even notice as PD has been broken for quite a while (week+).  I have a ticket open.  Hopefully comcast can figure this out.
