Best CM for dynamic IPv4 and static IPv6

We have an SMCD3G, no longer receiving IPv6 configuration.

We also have a static IPv4 /29. When we were getting IPv6 addressing, I had attempted (unsuccessfully) to get it working/routing with our endpoints and Mikrotik RB1100AHX2. We are ready to drop static IPv4 but want static IPv6. We have a few subnets and would like the option of using EUI-64 for "internal" addressing. We would like to eventually replace our PSTN trunks with SIP trunks. To get/use more than one /64, I think we need to have the SMCD3G replaced with a Netgear CG3000DCR? I noted some VoIP-related posts about the CG3000DCR that didn't look promising. Given all this, what are our best CM options?

Some follow up questions/comments...

I'm not sure if I read this or merely unbidden/transient thought Smiley Happy but I think static IPv6 may only be provided with static IPv4 (you can't request/subscribe static IPv6 separately)? If the answer is yes, then I think we're ready to ditch static IP entirely and go the BYOCM (cable modem, not chocolate milk or coffee mug!) route. Keeping in mind that we want several /64s and (eventually) third-party SIP, do you have a modem recommendation? I'm looking at devices under Deluxe 250 Speed Tier, for future-proofing.

Sorry for my delayed response. To answer your question yes you do have to receive a static IPv4 address along with a static IPv6 address. I apologize for not addressing your original post but I cannot identify a "best cable modem" option. The different needs of each location and the minutia of the individual network best determine the modem needed. If you are contemplating the purchase of your own modem, please verify the compatibility of the modem with your speed tier here. Be sure that the "Retail" box is checked next to the desired modem.
