True Bridge Mode
Called support to put our modem in " True Bridge Mode" since we dont have a static IP and want to use our own Router. Support claims its not possible with out a static IP but I have read topics on this forum that says it is. Anyone from Comcast listining that can assit me?

Hello GLCS and welcome,
Sorry you were not able to get your Comcast Gateway (CG) in True Bridge Mode (TBM) because if you are not using a Comcast Static IP then there is no reason for their refusal of this technical requirement. So, here are your alternatives 1.) Send either Comcast_Jessie or Comcast_Michael a private message with your account number CG type and ither of them will be able to directly assist you. 2.) you can contact 800-391-3000, using the high speed internet technical user option, then inform the technical agent to fill out a Tier 2 ticket if he is not able to put your CG in TBM.
