Missing Devices and more!

When a device is offline and you click the X to disconnect it, it stays in the list of offline devices. You cannot edit a hostname once you set a device with a reserved IP. Few other minor issues as well.

Can you please have them push out a firmware update that will address the missing connected devices as well as these issues?

It is really annoying when trying to setup your network the way you want it. Like making a mistake with an IP or hostname. It cannot be changed without a factory reset. That is pretty ridiculous to be honest.

EDIT: AND NOW the connected devices are missing again. I did a reboot this morning after seeing them gone and they are still gone. This is a problem from November of last year for cripes sake. Come on guys.

This is a new modem from last Saturday. It has been Factory reset twice already. There needs to be a fix for this ASAP. I really don;t feel like another reset and setting all my devices up a 4th time.

Fixed by a factory reset. Hope it stays fixed.

EDIT: Missing devices is fixed. It is still impossible to change a hostname once you give a device reserved IP. Also you cannot delete a device from the offline devices section either. Really need to fix that in the firmware update.

I had them roll back the firmware, but unfortunately, the system automatically updates the firmware again and again and again.  What you have to do is document what your connected devices are, and that is not a solution in my eyes.  For a business, this is a pain.

Hi K-ham and welcome to the business forums.

I can definitely understand your frustration in dealing with the gateway issue. This is being worked on. At this time, I currently do not have an estimated time of resolution. Once there is one to provide, it will be posted in the link below. Please let me know if you need anything.

Factory reset does not resolve the issue.  I have factory reset the modem twice and both times after a period the devices drop off again.  This is problematic when using port forwarding and DHCP.  The difficulty is unworkable with network shares and printers in a mixed environment wifi and ethernet connected devices.

Hi eichlj and welcome to the business forums.

My apologies in regard to the software issue you're experiencing. This is being worked on and there currently is no estimated time of resolution. Once there is one to provide, it will be posted in the link below. If you need to use a feature such as port forwarding, you are able to use the gateway in bridge-mode or passthrough and connect your own router to have accomplished.

Please let me know if you need anything.
