Is AQM available in Seattle?

I'm looking to buy my own modem, and want to avoid the problems with all the PUMA 6 modems, so while I'm on the Deluxe 150 plan, I think I should get the Motorola MB8600 (still based using a Broadcom processor). The modem I'm renting is bonding 24x8 channels, so it does not make sense to me to get the Arris SB6183 (16x4), and almost all the modems with more channels are using the buggy PUMA 6 processors, except the MB8600 and I think the Arris SB8200. I understand that I don't need DOCSIS 3.1 for my speed, but I want to know if I will still be able to take advantage of Active Queue Management on Comcast's Seattle network. Thanks!

Hi andschwa and welcome to the business forums.

Thanks for your question on the new DOCSIS 3.1 features. Currently, active queue management is not a supported feature within our CMTS as of yet. I do not have an updated ETA on this.

Please do let me know if you need anything.
