Hello bacnguye and welcome,

One way for you to get your modem upgraded to DOCSIS 3.0 is to have your Internet Tier speed @ 50 Mbps down / 10 Mbps up because your DOCSIS 2.0 will not handle that speed.

Hope this helps you out.

I am already a Teleworker Business account with Comcast Business as mentioned below.

Does this mean Comcast Business is cheating??

Fast Speeds

Get presentations and other large files transferred and relayed quickly and easily. Comcast Enterprise Internet solutions offer:

Speed up to 30x faster than DSL

Download files at up to 50Mbps

   Uploads up to 10Mbps

Thanks,

So if you truly do have the Arris WBM760A, then it is already a DOCSIS 3.0 device. Here is a link on the official Comcast site for it:

http://mydeviceinfo.comcast.net/device.php?devid=225

Additionally, if you see multiple channels on either the downstream or upstream signals, then this means that DOCSIS 3.0 is currently working; DOCSIS 2.0 is NOT able to use more than 1 channel down and 1 channel up. At the moment, your modem is using 4 channels down and 4 channels up.

Are you currently having problems?

Thanks, I just want to make sure that my modem is really working as DOCSYS3.0.

Some of my friends get the new DOCSYS3.0 and their Download speed is 60.11Mb/s

while mine is only 21.40Mb/s

So based on the signal levels posted above, your downstream power is lower than ideal; it should normally between -7 and +7, with maximum swings of -10 to +10. One of the channels you show is at -11. Make sure that when you do the speedtest, you have a computer connected with ethernet directly into the modem, bypassing any routers or other equipment you may have.

After that, you should try calling in to support, or optionally sending an IM to one of the red "Comcast_" users on this forum. In the meantime, you could possibly try tightening the coax cable on the back of the modem, as well as going into the wall, as loose connections can occasionally cause signal loss.

Could you please let us know what the Business Class Internet speed that it says you have on your billing statement. Most Teleworker Companies usually provide Business Class Starter Internet which is 16 Mbps down / 3 Mbsp up minimum as measured directly connected to the Comcast modem.

Look forward to hearing from you.
