help with gateway default reset login credentials

I tried the recessed reset button but that did not work.  I need assistance resetting the gateway to the default login credentials.

Hello, @user_28f8ad. I would love to help reset your modem. I appreciate you trying the pin hole on the back which should have reset the network and modem to facorty settings. No worries though, we can help.

To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:

Click "Sign In" if necessary

Click the "Direct Messaging" icon or https://comca.st/3EqVMu7

Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Comcast Business" there

 - As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Comcast Business" from that list

 - An "Comcast Business" graphic replaces the "To:" line

Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

Press Enter to send it
