Equipment Charges

I'm posting this to see if someone can help me out. I returned my equipment back on 12/21/15 and bought my own. I was billed last month for the equipment charges and when I called they told me basically wait a month they would come off my next bill. I just got my new bill and equipment charges are still on there.

Who do I need to talk with to get this handled?

Hello JustinEdw and welcome,

 

If you currently have a supported Customer Owned Modem (COM) since 12/21/2015 and you ONLY have Comcast Internet Service and are still paying the equipment fee do the following:

 

1. Call 800-391-3000, select the billing option, have your account number available for the billing agent

2. Inform the billing agent to review your account biller to make sure the Equipment Fee line item is removed

3. Then request a 3 month credit to you biller account and the billing agent will make this happen immdediately

4. After the billing agent removes the Equipment Fee, your future billing statements will reflect the correct charges.
