DPC3939B suspected cause of severe LPR delays
We've started to experience severe LPR queue delays on large print jobs after recent installation of a DPC3939B gateway router. There are no additional routers, VPN appliances, etc., anywhere on the LAN. I'd like start doing some kind of monitoring to see what is going on. What is my best bet to do so with little fuss, please?

You say that you suspect the DPC is causing the delays.... if you have one, have you tried putting a normal switch in between a user and the print server, and seeing if there is still slowness?

Good thought. I do have an unmanaged switch on hand and I can try that. However, the reason the router is suspected is, the problem started at about the same time we had the old SMC 8014 replaced with this thing.
