connection

I have had my service for one week and have yet to be able to get connected to anything. When the technician was here he said it could be my computer. I did not have any trouble before this was installed
For $ 200 a month this is crazy. Why all of a sudden is this happening. I know there is nothing wrong with my computer. Cannot even access my account. Says I don't exist. Ready to quit

Hello LadyB and welcome,

 

You should simply be connecting your Computer's Enet cable directly to one of the LanPorts 1-4 in the back of the Comcast Gateway.  If you are using a DPC3939B Comcast Gateway (DCG) with your Computer's wireless networking capability then you should look on the bottom of the DCG for the private wifi SSID and password key information. This will allow you to log into the private wifi using your Computer's wireless network connection.
