Comcast Business Gateway Firmware Update

Hi.

 

Two issues that support cannot help me with.

 

1. The Comcast-supplied "modem" will sometime decide to update its firmware in the middle of the day. This results in 10 minutes or so of downtime. Is there a way to configure this to occur at a certain time?

 

2. The timestamp on log entries are 1 hour behind. How can one configure the correct time?

Can anyone help with this?

 

I wish Comcast could actually support the equipment they give us.

Hello rtbsoft,

 

it sounds as though the modem is not completely configuring the firmware update. I can send a refresh to the modem to try and resolve this for you. Please send a private message so we may proceed.
