Cannot see connected devices is NOT SOLVED

I am posting new thread because old thread was marked as "solved" (and there is no way to reply to it), but it is not the case.

Old thread here - http://forums.businesshelp.comcast.com/t5/Equipment-Modems-Gateways/Can-not-see-Connected-Devices/td...

Thanks for reaching out to us on our Comcast Business Support Forum, Orbix!

The solution was posted at the bottom of that thread https://forums.businesshelp.comcast.com/t5/Equipment-Modems-Gateways/Can-not-see-Connected-Devices/m-p/31890#M3998. I apologize for the confusion. I'd be more than happy to help get that firmware updated. Do you mind sending me a private message with your full name, address and, the phone number listed on your Comcast Business Account?

I look forward to hearing from you soon!

I understand and, I appreciate wanting to have the solution posted for everyone to see!

The manufacturer of our Cisco model modems has identified a technical issue impacting some of the devices. This is not a safety concern. However, it may affect the device's features like seeing connected devices for example. I'd need to take a closer look at your modem to see which model it is and verify it has the latest bootfile updated. We highly suggest not sharing your information while on a public post which is why I requested that you send me a private message.

I hope to hear from you soon!

Yes, I am totally confused!  I reread that thread and still do not see any solution.  Please respond here so that others can see solution.  I realize I can private message you.  I choose to message in public so everyone can see solution.  Thanks!

We need to place a device in the DMZ but because we cannot see any devices, we cannot move forward. What is the solution -- or the process for getting a solution?

We have a Cisco DPC3941B, hardware revision 1.0.

DOCSIS Software Version:dpc3941b-v303r20421771-190327a-CMCST

This seems to be an issue that has existed in some form or another for several years. Can we get a reliable fix?
