Cannot Forward Traffic

Our customer (5 static IP block) had his modem replaced with a new Cisco Business Class Gateway. Our setup is Comcast Device (passing through traffic)--> RV082(WAN IP has one of the 5 statics). Before, we had an SMC device, and the RV082 could accept PPTP VPN traffic (port 1723) through the SMC without any special configuration on the SMC. Now, with the Cisco, no matter what configuration we do, our RV082 will not accept port 1723 traffic, as it seems the Cisco is blocking it somehow.

LAN DHCP is disabled on the Cisco.

Yes, that should work as well. However, the DPC3941B has a small quirk within it where if the Advanced. Port Management. Open all Ports on Static IP Addresses is not checked then this could inadvertently block some of the ports on Static IP devices.....fyi.....

Interesting. I don't have a way to look at it right now. Comcast is coming out soon to replace the Cisco with an SMC (which worked before). So if we don't configure those ports, the Cisco device will block it even if the traffic is destined for a public IP (configured on an inside firewall) . Is that correct?

"Check Disable Firewall for True Static IP Subnet Only to disable all firewall functionality for devices assigned an IP from the static IP subnet."

Would this not apply and then allow all traffic through?
