What I need to do install a fortigate 30E behind MB8600 Modem?

I want to add a Fortigate 30E between MB8600 modem and home router. When trying to configure Fortigate 30E, it requires a WAN IP address, Network Mask, and Gateway. Where can I find such info?

I have manually connected a computer to MB8600, and get its IP info 24.x.x.x; and also logged into my home router, get its ip info, 68.x.x.x

They are quite different. What IP I should use for Fortigate 30E.

Thanks.

Hey, there @user_5d6b1a! Great questions! Thank you for reaching out on our Comcast Business Forum with them -- We're always happy to help. :)

Installing the FortiGate 30E is beyond our point of demarcation, so I'm not able to assist with configuration, but I would love to help with any info I can find for you. This link will provide you with the Gateway IP and subnet mask info: https://comca.st/3x9GvtO .

But, before we get to that point, may ask if you've purchased a block of static IPs? I suspect not if you are asking this question. If not, or if you're not sure, please send us a PM so we can get you set up!

Thank you .

I am not aware of static IPs are a must. Maybe I need to contact my Comcast Business representive first.

BTW, how  to send a PM on this board.

Thank you very much.

I also did not see Gateway IP and subnet mask info from the link you give https://comca.st/3x9GvtO

It only shows Cloud Services under services for me
