my Comcast static IP is different from what i find in whatismyIP website

I found out that the Comcast static IP assigned to our company is different from what is found in Whatismyip. is it a normal situation?

Hi there, thank you so much for reaching out to us about your static IP concerns. The website whatis myip is actually to check public ip address. It will not show you the static IP address.

there will have some emails sending from our SMTP server, should I add the public IP address to SPF record?

An SPF record identifies the mail servers and domains that are allowed to send email on behalf of your domain. If you do add it like mentioned we would recommend that you test it afterwards to ensure that it works.
