It seems my static IP has changed
I can no longer connect to my work server. It appears that my Static IP has changed and I cannot access remotely. How can I check this remotely and have my static IP restored?

Hello jobeind and welcome,
There are many reasons for you not to be able to remotely connect to your server. Here are ways to determine if your Comcast Static IP addresses information are still properly configured and loaded:
1. Have some one onsite connect a computer to one of the Comcast Gateway Internet Modem (CGIM) into any open LanPorts 1-4, bring up a browser, type in 10.1.10.1, username=cusadmin, password=highspeed. Now click on Gateway Summary and you should see your Static IP Gateway address displayed in the WAN segment. If there is any issue doing this then recycle power to the CGIM.
2. Call 1800-391-3000 , option 1, provide your Comcast account number and ask the Technical rep. to log into your CGIM to validate this your WAN StaticIP Gateway address and subnet mask.
I would also have someone onsite reboot your server just to make sure there were no power outages, Comcast signaling glitches that left things in fanort causing no remote access.
Hope this helps you out.
