Domain Transfer and Hosting
Do I have to transfer my domain registration to Comcast in order to host my website? Can't I just create a new record with the current company that has the domain and point it to Comcast?

Hello psycdoc and welcome,
It is necessary for you to register your domain with Comcast before making any changes to your zone file records. Use your existing domain name with Comcast Business email and web hosting link provides the process and procedure for you to achieve this.
