CNAME not being read
I am attempting to move my current domain to comcast and keep getting stuck at the verify ownership stage. I have entered the CNAME entries to the values in the instructions but it will not complete the task. When I have contacted Comcast they said my current provider is not updating their end. When I contact my current provider they say it is updated but there is nothing on the Comcast end for it to point to. What I have entered is "BAQNO.mydomain.com" CNAME "mydomain.comcastbiz.net". What could be the reason this is not completing?

For me, it was adding a dot at the end of the CNAME entry
mydomain.comcastbiz.net.
notice the DOT at the end..... that got me through step 2 but I'm still waiting to get through step 3.

I tried putting a DOT at the end but I got a messege saying the value was invalid. I have tried different sites to trace the CNAME and the it traces to "mydomain.comcastbiz.net" but "mydomain.comcastbiz.net" does not point to anything or anywhere. How do I get this resolved?

Hello KevinS1981 and welcome,
You might want to go to Manage Services.Email.View DNS ISettings and look inside here for the actual domain and email facility addresses that you should be using for like MX typically mx01.biz.comcast.net or mx02.biz.comcast.net, NS typically • adns.cs.siteprotect.com • bdns.cs.siteprotect.com, CNAM typically something like autodiscover-rd.????.comcast.net. Modifying these records usually takes between 8-24 hours too propagate, too.
Hope this helps you out.
