Was put on a horrible plan

Not sure why but to get on a month to month plan we had to upgrade our internet to 800/200.  Fastest we have ever gotten is 600/40 and our plan is the highest in cost it has ever been.  The other options they gave us were either stay with our plan and sign a long contract and it would costs almost a $100 a month more than what we were paying or get lower speeds and be charged around what we were paying.  I chose month to month just because comcast has been nickel and diming us more and more and customer service is the worst and we want an out just in case.  

We have had about 3-4 tech visits come out for first telling us the updated our internet but didn't, then the next visit they installed a new modem and speed when up a little, then because customer tech support sent a message to our modem it threw our phone system off.  Since then I am honestly too scared to call customer service and don't have the time for another tech visit...I am kind of done with it.  I have reached out to the sales person that set us up with this stupid new plan and he said he would have someone call me.  That was about 2-3 weeks ago and nothing.  I have reached out to another sales person and they said they were going to see if they can come up with a different plan/option.  I honestly just want to go back to our 500 plan and I don't see the reason why it would be such a pain.
