Notifications sent to wrong email
I set up my online account with a personal email. I then went into my profile settings are change it to my work email and verified it. I also removed the personal email and it does not show anywhere in my online profile, but I'm still receiving emails to the personal email. How do I fix this?

Hello, @user_4b7aac!
Thanks for reaching out! When you update your primary email under Profile & Settings, it updates your sign-in details and general account notifications. However, certain automated business notifications - such as Billing & Invoicing, Order Updates, or Service Alerts - are managed under separate notification preference sections and do not automatically switch over when the primary login changes.
To ensure all communications go to your work email, please try the following steps:
1. Check Billing Notification Preferences:
- Sign in to Comcast Business My Account.
- Navigate to Billing (or Bill & Payment).
- Select Billing Settings or Paperless Auto-Pay Settings.
- Check the Bill Delivery Email / Notification Contact listed there and update it to your work email.
2. Check Contact & Users Settings:
- Go to Account Details > Users (or Manage Users).
- Select your user profile and verify that your Contact Email (which can differ from your Sign-In Username) is set to your work email.
3. Clear Browser Cache / Sign Out & Back In:
- Occasionally, legacy session data can temporarily delay updates across systems. Logging out and back in ensures all updated parameterssync across our backend notification queues.
If you’ve confirmed the email is updated across all billing and contact preferences, and you are still receiving alerts at your personal address after 24–48 hours (to allow pending batch queues to clear), please send us a direct private message. We’ll be happy to manually check our backend notification routing for you!
