InHome Service Visit charged when Comcast know there was network problem in my area before visit.
I was checking my account and just found out $99.95 for a Tech Visit because Comcast business phone service is unreliable.
Long story short:
I couldn’t remember exact date the phone is out of service now. It happens on one of Thursday afternoon in February. All my incoming call and outgoing call is not working. I called customer service, they not able to solve the issues, so they send a technician next day. When technician came, he told me that all area around my business phone is down because nearby construction yesterday. He received a lot of call and service yesterday about this problem. He said to make sure everything works, he came in unplug the equipment and plugin again.
Total visit is less than 5 minutes and according the technician all my area is affect by the construction. Isn’t this a Comcast network problem and if the customer representative can tells me there is a network problem and it is temporary. Then no visit is need.
Now I have a $99.95 bill regarding a In Home Service Visit for 5 minutes visit because their construction that affect all the network all my area.
I think I am not responsible for this service bill since Comcast know there is service problem in my area and they didn’t inform me about this and they still make a tech visit that will do nothing and incurring a high charge.
Any advice on what to do next?
Thank you all!
