Customer service without customer service!

Comcast has got to have the worst Customer Service of any company I have ever dealt with. If we had customer service as bad as Comcast we would have been out of business 30 years ago!

I have tried to switch service from 1 location to another and they told me it would cost 8,000.00 to get service to that location. I tried to cancel the service since they could not transfer it and they said I had to pay a 18 month cancellation fee. I tried to cancel a service with 6 months left on its contract and move the service with 18 months left to that location and they said I would have to sign up with a new 2 year contract.

I have paid for the service at the one location for 6 months with no use on the service at all and no help to correct the situation.

As of today I am not paying any more Comcast invoices for these 2 locations. If Comcast attempts to threaten me in any way for not paying the invoices or not fulfilling the 2 year contracts then I will take the actions necessary to counteract the situation.

Magnum305.  I apologize for the problems encountered with the transfer of Services. If you will send me a private message with the account number and the address of the new location I will research the issue and engage the appropriate group in the Regional Support Center to assist.

Same with my transfer which I'm still waiting on.  $2500 for construction which comcast will pay for and $3000 to get out of my contract.  I'm still paying for service at a location that we moved from!!!

It seems like if Comcast ever wanted to keep their clients that have perfect credit and payment history, they could help out in our situation.

I am having the same problem with lack of customer service and early exit fee of $495 for a situation that we had NO control of. I will never use Comcast again for our personal or business account.
