Business Phone Not Working, 1-866 Number Doesn't Work
My insurance office uses Comcast for the telephones. I keep getting disconnected or sent to a "Directory that does not exist" when I call both the personal and business lines. Haven't yet reached a person.
My phone consistently cuts out in the middle of conversations. It's gotten so bad I conduct all my business on my cell phone. Does any one have any tips for resolving this or getting a hold of a tech at Comcast?

Hello nny403 and welcome,
You can call 800-391-3000, use technical support option for Comcast Digital Voice (CDV), provide your account number, then inform the technical agent of the specific telephone issues your are having.
I recommend you have him check the following:
1. that your 866 toll free (TF) telephone number (TN) is connected to the TN at your business which you expect it to ring on
2. check your telephone internal switch to make sure all TNs settings are correct
3. have him remotely reset your telephone modem, then place a test call on your 866 TF TN

I should have been more clear, that I couldn't reach customer service at the 1-866 number provided. But the phone number you provided did get my problem resolved. Comcast Recommends Resetting the business voice device monthly. Should be fine they do believe.
