Assistance with Comcast Business Account refunds - updated: 07/08/24

Hi Jessie, quick question! What about business accounts that start with 8? Is check the only option offered for credit balances?

Hi, @user_dcf6a5,

 

How the refund is issued depends on the circumstances of the credit balance such as if you canceled your account and were not transferring. If applicable it could be refunded to the credit card used. If a refund attempt fails to process to the last payment method, it will then typically be submitted via check. 

 

As far as the account number starting with 8 we can look further into that, just keep in mind processes may be different if you have a multi location account compared to 1 standard location.

In case you need the steps:

Click "Sign In" if necessary

Click the "Peer to peer chat" icon or https://comca.st/32r1cqt

Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Comcast Business" there

- As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Comcast Business" from that list

- A "Comcast Business" graphic replaces the "To:" line

Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
