Does Comcast have dedicated Account Reps?  I need to talk to someone other than the standard person when I call business support...I've logged 26 hours on the phone with them in the last 2 week, and 2 tech visits just to get internet working.

 

Now I've been having horrible experience trying to get remote call forwarding scheduled from one site to another...something the sales rep said we would not have a problem as this is done all the time.  And the best thing to do is establish service at the new location first, then just port the numbers over when you are ready.

 

From my last conversation I have a 5-7 day window, where comcast, at their convienence will move the numbers...that's helpful, when we will be MOVING from one building to another on a specific DAY.

Hello itaccounts and welcome,

 

If you are moving your business location from one physical address to a different physical address, then you should contact any Comcast Sales representative using the 800-391-3000. You should be able to then port your existing telephone number (TN) from the old location to the new location. This same process can be used to open another business location and port the existing old TN to the new location. Typically, when porting a Comcast TN from one Comcast location to another, that already has or is adding Digital Telephone Service, the standard timeframe is acutally 3-4 business days.

 

Now, if you are moving your current location TN to another building at the same business location, then this should be scheduled as a Change Of Service with date and time when a Comcast Technician will come to your business to relocate your telephone service to the other building.
