800# itemization

I am on day 3 of trying to get an itemization of my toll free US charge.  Blame me...I blindly paid this for years.  Well this month I wanted an itemization of how they figured it.  NOBODY call tell me.  I am all the way up the ladder to Corporate Dispute Legal Team and even they won't return my calls.  Can anyone help me?

yes it is tied to my main number...but lots of people call that number  and most are not dialing the 800#.  comcast REALLY has a problem if they are charging local or direct dial calls as an 800#.

Hello nohairleft and welcome, I know that all Tool Free (TF) telephone number (TN) are connected (or translated) to one of your normal TNs (usually your primary TN within your account. So, you can evaluate the amount of transaction time on that TN that your TF is connected to and then multiply that time times $0.049 per minute and that should provide you a very close computational analysis to what you are being charged for the TF TN usage. Of course, if some of your customers just directly call your primary TN then you would need to remove that from your TF charging number. Hope this helps you out.

I can assure you that Comcast ONLY charges for TF TN incoming call processing @ $0.049 / minute.

Comcast does not charge for any dialed in direct local or long distance outgoing or incoming on a full featured line type, such as your Primary TN connected to your TF TN.

Comcast does charge for any direct calling outgoing long distance on any basic line type that is not FAX, Credit Card, Security Alarm, etc. data call transaction processing.

Has this been figured out yet? I can't find anywhere on the website where I can get an itemized list of numbers that we're being billed for on our 800 line. Even the Comcast sales rep was stunned at the amount of our bill and refered me to the website to see the breakdown. Problem is - it doesn't seem to be there. I hate CenturyLink with a passion, but at least I received an itemized list every month. There has to be more than 2 people looking for this.
