Unstable Internet Connection

I use an internet video phone and online chat that constantly must have steady internet connections.  Comcast Business internet connection keeps clicking on and off.  How can I check if the internet service provider is not giving me steady and that my equipment are fine?  Even during the call with Business Comcast, I got disconnected because of the unsteady internet connection.  How can that be fixed?

Can you go to http://192.168.100.1 or http://10.0.0.1 or http://10.1.10.1/ and pull your modem signal levels? Should be located on the "cable modem" or "status" page.

No, I can't open the first one with Explorer and I don't have a username and password for that.

One of those links should work. If you get prompted for a password, try:

username: cusadmin

password: highspeed

Hello HKCPA and welcome,

Just make sure you have a computer plugged directly into on of the Comcast Gateway (CG) Enet LanPorts, bring up a browser, type 10.1.10.1 in the address field, then use username=cusadmiin, password=highspeed, then screen capture your CG up and down channel paramters as train_wreck indicated. It would also be helpful to know the following: are you using a staticIP address and if so, what device is actually using this, what is the model of your CG, what is your Internet Tier Bandwidth?
