Slow transfers and buffering issues (Youtube, etc) During Evening Hours
Starting to see a consistant issue now with buffering and slow download speeds from certain cites around the same time between 6-8 or 9pm every day.
For the past 2-3 months now, youtube speeds have dropped and I'm stuck with buffering issues every day between 6-9pm (the time I notice the drops and buffering) I've rebooted my router and gateway to no avail and during this time, I'm not able to resolve this issue and then sometime between 8-9pm the issue resolves itself.
I also have a small file server I host some files on based out of the Netherlands which has the same issue with slowness when pulling files off of to my home PC around the same time and it magically clears up around the same time as youtube (but has has the issue for about a month longer).
Something is going on with the routing or capacity either locally here or regionally (I'm located in the NorthEast Bayarea/Sacramento region). My connection routes through the Bay Area and read that there has been ongoing issues with the xfinity side of things having the same issues with slowness and high pings: http://forums.xfinity.com/t5/Basic-Internet-Connectivity-And/Download-speed-gets-DRASTICALLY-lower-at-night-time-8PM-11PM/m-p/2562440/highlight/false#M229488
I need to get this fixed, my service isn't usable during this time which is after work and it's happening every day.
I have a Netgear static IP gateway on the 75/15 business plan through my work. What can be done here, can someone check my gateway or routes in my area to see if anything is bad? Thanks.

If you're only seeing issues during peak time it's pretty much guaranteed to be some type of capacity issue. Though, 2-3 months is a long time to be seeing problems like that. Just to be on the safe side, lets have you pull your modem signal levels while the connection is working properly and when it is experiencing problems. http://forums.businesshelp.comcast.com/t5/Connectivity/Connection-Troubleshooting-Tips/m-p/25861#U25861

Starting with the signal when I'm having the slowness happening during the evening/night:
Downstream:
Upstream:
Anything look off? I'm running the netgear CG3000DCR gateway w/static.
I'll edit this once I post when the speeds are normal.

I am currently having the same issues. Right around 6pm, i'm getting 400Kbps-600Kbps connection speed to Youtube, while my internet tests are still showing 80 down 15 up.

If it is only Youtube that is slow during the evening, and every other site performs normally, then the problem is likely one between Comcast and Youtube. If this is the case, then unfortunately there is little you can do from your end.
Your signal levels look fine.

Yea, from what I have been able to figure out, Youtube is the only site where I am seeing this problem. I'll try to figure out if there are any more symptoms i can pinpoint.

It's not only youtube, but seems any site/route that goes through ntt.net also (from my testing).
I have a small cheap webhost based in NL/Europe area and pulling files from it between the evening hours and into the morning are near impossible. This has been ongoing for months, the service provider of my site says there are no issues and other comcast users are reporting the same. Seems to be bad peering? This needs to be looked at. this is something really wrong with going through the bay area: http://downdetector.com/status/comcast-xfinity/map/
This service is unusable and I'm paying the business price? Can I get a Comcast rep to have someone help me with this?

There's something going on with routes through the bay area here every evening (tracert to youtube.com which has the same slowness every evening between 5-9pm:

And here is the tracert to youtube.com once the connection resumes to normal speed:
Would this at all indicate that there is something going on with the router in sunnyvale? I'm talking not only about the slow loading of videos, but even slow loading of the youtube.com site.
