Slow Connection
I recently had business business wifi installed and while it works great for routine tasks, it's been very slow when it comes to larger downloads like streaming video. Can anyone lend any insight into what the problem might be. It's a Cisco wireless router that they installed.

Hello briancpa7 and welcome,
It is not uncommon for steaming video seemingly to be VERY slow over any for the following reasons:
- file formats are extremely dense and it is almost required mandatory for direct connect 100Mbps min. up to Gbps
- using WIFI it is pretty standard that ALL devices MUST be 802.3 11N because 11B&G 54Mbps usually have reload video buffer stoppages/slow-downs.
- Internet Tier Speed needs to be absolutely 50Mbps down /10 Mbps up minimum, but I would recommend 75 Mbps /15 Mbps, is your price point can handle it and your computer hardware is up to the task.
So, you need to check all of your Computers network interconnectivity to make sure that your hardware (video card and graphic memory size, network controller speed, etc.) and related software can handle this streaming video file density.
Hope this helps you out.
