Settings for email

Hello-

I spent a good 90 minutes on the phone this morning (after 30 last Friday) trying to get answers to what are the proper outgoing email settings to be able to send emails through our practice management program.

 

I finally got the following settings (which don't work).  Can anyone tell me the correct ones?

 

Outgoing mail:  smtp.comcastbiz.net

User:   something@ourdomain.comcastbiz.net

PW:   ***********

Use Authentication

Mode:  2

Port: 465

Timeout: 25 sec

Hello CAWCKathy and welcome,

 

Please log into your Business Blass Portal (BCP) using your adminiistratot account.  Then under the Mange Services click on Email link, you should then see a View DNS Settings link and this is where all of you Comcast Email domain incoming and outgoing server addresses are located.
